In the Vidalia Onion Field on Easter Sunday 2017


Vidalia Organics Inc. was the first Vidalia Sweet Onion farm to become USDA certified organic in Tattnall County , Georgia in the year 2008. Tattnall County is the largest producer of Vidalia Sweet Onions.

Our Family farm was certified organic in the year of our lord 2008. My Name is Shad Dasher. I am a third generation Vidalia Sweet Onion Farmer. My Granddaddy Dan grew them before the onion was even called a Vidalia Sweet Onion. Then my daddy continued the path that would watch the onion become the Vidalia Sweet Onion. My wife's name is Karin Dasher. She is my German Bavarian Edelweiss.Her Occupation is Artist , Potter, Seamstress and most importantly Mom. We have five children together Larry, Katharinia, Christian, Mitzi and Allen. With the addition of Our Son in Law Bradley and Granddaughter Jessica.
